The Arizona boating safety education certificate (also referred to as the Arizona Boaters License) is proof that a boater has demonstrated basic boating knowledge by passing an approved boating safety course and exam.
Arizona does not require boat or PWC operators to get a boating safety education certificate (boating license). However, many insurance agencies offer a boat insurance discount for boaters who have taken a boating safety course.
There is no minimum age to take the online boat safety exam.
The online Certification Exam costs $29.50. There is no charge for the Arizona boating safety education certificate.
Your Arizona boating safety education certificate will be mailed to your home within 5–7 business days after you pass the exam.
