Maryland Boating Certificate Overview

Boat Maryland is the official boating safety course of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. You can complete the course for boater safety certification to comply with Maryland boater education law, or just take the online Maryland boat safety course to improve your boating knowledge.

	Study the Maryland safe boating course material and take one or more Practice Tests—free of charge.
	Take the Maryland Boating Certification Exam for $15, collected online (see notice). When you pass, you may instantly print out a temporary certificate. You will receive your permanent Maryland boating safety education certificate by mail within 5 - 7 business days.
