Boater education certification is required by law
for many Mississippi boaters. Even if it’s not
required for you, becoming certified
can save you money on boat
insurance. You have two ways to be certified:

Learn what you need to be a safe boat operator online!
The complete course with exciting visuals awaits you on
the Net. Interactive graphics help you learn and retain information on
boating safely in Mississippi. Successfully complete the online test and
you will receive a State of Mississippi boater education certificate by
mail.
In a Classroom
Share the learning experience with other interested
students and a qualified instructor. The Mississippi
Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, & Parks can help you find a
