Enforcement
Authorized Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officers have
peace officer status for enforcing boating regulations. Sheriffs,
peace officers, and U.S. Coast Guard law enforcement officers
also have authority to enforce these provisions.
Fish, Wildlife & Parks wardens are authorized to stop,
halt, or inspect vessels in order to enforce Montana laws.
