Boat North Carolina is the official boating safety course of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. Taking this safe boating course will allow you to get your North Carolina boating license online.

Study the North Carolina safe boating course material and take one or more Practice Tests—free of charge.

Take the North Carolina Boating Exam. Pay $24.50—one time only, after you pass. When you pass, you will receive your permanent North Carolina boater safety certification card by mail. If you need certification more quickly, you may order an expedited certificate for an additional fee.

What's the difference between a boating license and a boating safety education certificate?
