2. View the Boat New Hampshire video or DVD. Read the manual and complete the study exercises.
3. Take the enclosed test and mail in the test answer sheet along with the $5.00 processing fee. You must be at least 15 years of age. Upon receiving a passing score (80% or better) on the mail-in test, you will be mailed a Boat New Hampshire Boating Education Course Completion Slip.
4. The course completion slip that you obtain when you pass the course will serve as your admittance ticket to a proctored examination. Please do not call to register for a proctored examination until AFTER you have received your Course Completion Slip.
5. Call New Hampshire Boating Education at 1-888-254-2125 to schedule a time for a proctored examination at one of numerous locations. There will be an additional $10.00 to take the proctored examination which will be required at the time of registration.
6. Upon passing the proctored exam, you may apply for your Safe Boater Education Certificate from the New Hampshire Department of Safety.
7. Send a copy of your New Hampshire Safe Boater Education Certificate to your insurance agent and start receiving your insurance savings!
