Take the Oregon
Boating Exam. Pay $24.50—one time only, after you pass. You must be at least 12 years old to take the exam and apply for your Oregon Boater Education
Card. When you pass, you may instantly print
out a Certificate of Completion online. This will serve as your temporary operating
permit for 60 days. |

You will also have the option to purchase
your permanent Oregon Boater Education Card issued by
the Oregon State Marine Board. There is a $10 state fee for the
permanent card and an additional $0.50 processing fee if it is
purchased online. Or, you may apply
on your own for your permanent Oregon Boater Education Card through
the Marine Board.
Passing the Oregon boating safety course may make you eligible for a discount on your boat or PWC insurance. Send a copy of your boater safety certificate to your agent and start saving! |
