The Vermont State Police are responsible for the safety education of
Vermont boaters. The Boat
Vermont safe boating program is
recognized nationally and approved by the National Association
of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA). Many insurance
companies offer a discount for successful completion.
Boating safety certification is now required by law for
