The online Certification Exam costs $29.50—after you pass. No pass? no pay! There is no charge for the Wisconsin boating safety education certificate.
Your permanent card will be issued by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, which issues cards only once a month. Your Wisconsin boater safety certification card will be mailed to your home within 6 weeks after you pass the exam.
Upon passing the exam, you may immediately print out a temporary certificate valid for 90 days.
Should your safety education certificate become lost or destroyed, you may obtain a duplicate certificate.
