Course Outline

Fatigue is caused by:

  • The glare and heat of the sun
  • The motion of the pleasure craft caused by the wind and the waves
  • The noise and vibration of the engine
  • Dehydration

Besides a lack of energy, other signs of fatigue may include weakness, an inability to concentrate, and difficulty starting and completing tasks. While not fatal itself, fatigue may weaken your body and mind enough to make the risk of an accident much greater.
