The Department of Environmental Management's Division of Law Enforcement
is responsible for the safety education of Rhode Island boaters.
The Boat Rhode Island safe boating program is nationally recognized
and approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators.
Many insurance companies offer a discount for successful completion. Boating
