If you are 16 or 17 years of age, in order to complete the New Hampshire boater education requirements, you must pass both the online and Proctored Exam portions of the boater education course. Passing the online course does not guarantee you a spot at the Proctored Exam.

If you are 18 years of age or older when you register for this course, the Proctored Exam is not required unless you do not pass your online exam.
