If you were born after 1/1/1989, you cannot register for this online course. To prepare for your In-Person Exam, you may use the free online Study Guide.
Before taking the In-Person Exam, you must purchase a $10.00 Type 600 boating safety exam permit. Find more information on requirements and testing locations at the TWRA website.
After passing the state-required In-Person Exam, your TWRA-issued wallet Boater Education Certificate will arrive in the mail within 2-3 weeks.
