Boat Ed's Pennsylvania boating course has been the official online boating safety course of the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission since 2001. Taking this safe boating course will allow you to get your Pennsylvania boater education certificate online.

Pay $34.50—one time only, after you pass. When you pass, you may instantly print a temporary Pennsylvania Boater Education Certificate online. This will serve as your temporary operating permit for 60 days. You also will be able to purchase your permanent Pennsylvania Boater Education Certificate online (an additional $10 state fee), which will be mailed to you by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission within 4 - 6 weeks.

Who Needs a Pennsylvania Boating Safety Education Certificate?

• Anyone born on or after January 1, 1982, operating a boat powered by a motor greater than 25 hp
• Anyone operating a PWC on Pennsylvania public waters
