Welcome to the official boating safety course of Colorado State Parks. This safe boating course lets you get a boating safety certificate online (ages 16 and older) or prepares you for a supervised classroom exam if required by Colorado boater education law.
Colorado State Parks Study the Colorado safe boating course material, then take the Colorado Boating Exam. Pay $29.50—one time only, after you pass. When you pass, you may instantly print out a temporary certificate. You will receive your permanent Colorado Boating Safety Certificate by mail within 5–7 business days.
Even if you aren’t required to get your boating license, obtaining your permanent Colorado Boating Safety Certificate may help you save on boat and PWC insurance!
