Oregon Boater Safety Course
The Oregon State Marine Board requires all powered vessel operators to successfully complete a NASBLA– and state-approved boating safety course in order to operate a vessel powered by a motor of more than 10 horsepower on Oregon waterways. Boat operators are required to carry a proof of boater education. No one under the age of 12 years may operate a powered vessel in Oregon.
