Cute little dachshund Gracie couldn't handle the excitement when a pod of dolphins surfaced near her mom's kayak—and jumped in to "get" them!

Videos like this are a great reminder both that having your pup pal out on the water can be a lot of fun, but also that they need a life jacket almost as much as you do. Canaveral, Florida could have been a very dangerous place for a little dog like Gracie to take a swim. Luckily, Gracie made it back safely to the boat and is now kept closer to her human parents when they go out on the water.
